Fallingbrook – prime real estate pocket
Do you think I only photograph people? I do photograph other subjects as well.
Way back when digital photography didn’t exist, only film, I studied photography. At Humber College I learned everything about photography, even theory (boring)!
Yes, some things I enjoyed more than others.
The things I loved and still love the best are people and interiors / details.
A few weeks ago I was hired to take photos of a luxurious home in the city of Toronto. This dream home is designed beautifully and full of natural light!
“Filled with light, styled with comfort and nestled on an oversized lot, this deceptively large home is embraced by spectacular gardens. A distinctively unique residence, 130 Fallingbrook Rd. beckons you and your family home. “ Fallingbrook,” hailed by the Globe and Mail as “one of the prime real estate pockets” in the city of Toronto is steps from the best school in the beach, minutes from the bustle of the boardwalk, and close to other coveted amenities including golf, parks and shopping. 130 Fallingbrook Rd. boasts a walk score of 87, and a transit score of 85 allowing you to do most of your errands on foot with close proximity to Victoria Park Station and other TTC amenities.
Classic and elegant, 130 Fallingbrook was built in the 1920’s, and has been significantly renovated with quality to accommodate modern family living without compromising the character and charm of the original home. Contemporary architecture accentuated with vaulted ceilings, a large foyer, expansive walls of windows, multiple skylights, modern kitchen and baths and an opulent master bedroom have been skillfully blended with many heritage elements including: (3) wood burning fireplaces, original plank wood floors in the living room, leaded glass windows and even the original interior doors.”
Take a look at this beautiful magazine that was designed by Jonny Desliva at Rockwell Creative for Dale Biason at Royal LePage.
I took all the interior photos and I loved doing it!
