Body Shaming

Body ShamingBody Shaming

I am currently working on a photography project and I would like to hear from you if you are a victim of body shaming.

These are few things people may have said to you:

“You are too skinny.”
“Eat a burger!”
“Oh, you’re wearing that?! You’re so brave!”

I’m looking for people of all ages and sizes.  I will be selecting a few people to photograph based on their story.

When was the first time or your worst body shaming experience?

Contact Lisa Crispo at 416 399 9144 or email at info(at)lisa

Thank you for help.

Yes, this is Toronto!

Yes, this is Toronto!

By looking at these engagement portraits, I’m sure you would never think that this stunning location is in Toronto, right?  BUT  Yes, this is Toronto! Hard to believe, I know!  I couldn’t believe my eyes, it felt and looked like I was somewhere in Europe and not at Bluffers Park Beach in Toronto . There is a beautiful, wide sandy beach and behind you and the Scarborough Bluffs form a stunning backdrop.

I’m definatly a summer person and one of my most favourite places to spend my time is at the beach.  Life is always better at the beach, isn’t it?  The sound of crashing waves,  the warmth of the sun on your skin and the sand between your toes, these are all the key ingredients for a blissful state of calm.  Calm and relaxed. Relaxed = happy.  Now, add doing what I love, taking beautiful portraits of people.  Pure Bliss.
